Pes Anserinus Tendinitis
Definition:
The 'pes anserinus' ("goose's foot") is the Insertion (anatomy) of the conjoined tendons of three muscles onto the anteromedial (front and inside) surface of the Upper region of tibia.
Symptoms:
Chronic medial knee pain
Leg weakness
Swelling in the medial knee
Point tender on the Pes Anserine
Causes:
Overuse
Repetitive kicking
Muscle imbalance- tight hamstrings
Supination of the ankle
Jumping sports
Treatment:
