Osteoarthrosis of the Lower Leg
Definition:
Arthritis characterized by erosion of articular cartilage of the lower leg, which becomes soft, frayed, and thinned with eburnation of subchondral bone and outgrowths of marginal osteophytes; pain and loss of function result.
Symptoms:
Pain in the lower leg
Stiffness in the lower leg
Loss of ROM in the lower leg
Crepitus in the lower leg with movement
