Definition:
'Traumatic spondylopathy' is a form of dorsopathy. It is a group of symptoms that are associated with a spinal injury involving compression fracture of the vertebrae.
Symptoms:
  • Spinal pain
  • Changes in the spine shape
  • Lower extremity weakness
Causes:
  • Compression fracture
Treatment:
  • ROM and stretching
  • Core stabilization exercises
  • Lower and upper extremity strengthening
