Definition:
A degenerative process that can cause radiating neck pain, as well as numbness and weakness in your shoulders, arm, and hand.
Symptoms:
- Pain in the neck
- Stiffness in the neck
- Loss of ROM in the neck
- Numbness, tingling, weakness in the arms, neck or shoulders
Causes:
- Fall
- Wear and tear
- Twisting injury
- Faulty posture
Treatment:
- ROM and stretching exercises
- Postural program
- Upper extremity strengthening exercises
