Definition:
Inflammation of the peroneal tendons.
Symptoms:
- Pain on the outside of the ankle
- Stiffness in the ankle
- Swelling in the ankle
Causes:
- Overuse
- Repetitive running
- Improper training
- Muscle imbalance
Treatment:
- ROM and stretching
- Soft tissue massage
- Gait program
- Foot intrinsic muscle strengthening
- Lower extremity strengthening
