A localized swelling at the medial or dorsal aspect of the first metatarsolphalangeal joint, caused by bursal inflammation and fibrosis; usually associated with hallux valgus.
Symptoms:
Swelling on the medial great toe
Redness on the medial great toe
Physical deformity- lateral deviation of the great toe
